This Somerset Apple and Cider Flagon was created by Thatcher George Dabinett in the 1950s.
Dabinett was also a skilled straw worker and created many designs that are being done by straw artists today. Cider and apples were a big part of the local economy of the county of Somerset, England where he was a native.
